Ever get bored in the Bath? Unfortunately washing is a necessity for all of us and a shower or bath is essential for keeping clean, odor free and staying healthy. Most of the time a shower will do, the majority of us are in a rush 24/7 and simply don’t have time sit around in the bath of a morning. Showers are reputed to be more hygienic because the water, jetting out at high pressure washes dead skin and dirt off of your body and straight down the drain, a bath on the other hand leaves you sitting in your own dirt. Of course many of us partake in a bath not just for the practical purposes of washing but to relax and reflect.

A proper luxurious bubble bath, prepared correctly can go a long way to soothing the days stresses and strains away and there are a number of companies jumping on the back of this. The high street store Lush for example, opened it’s doors a few years ago selling luxury bath products. Its range of exotically coloured and scented soaps along with exploding bubble bath have truly spiced up bathtime for many, turning it into an event to be enjoyed rather than just a necessity. Things like this make great stocking fillers for mums, sisters or girlfriends. There are also few new innovative products out there that make bathtime into even more of a party.

The rubber duck is a staple bathtime favourite for kids and has been for many years, but a new twist on the concept has just been released that would make brilliant 18th birthday gifts for both genders. The iDuck is a quirky new invention which looks like a normal rubby ducky but hides a WiFi speaker, meaning you can stream tunes straight from your iPod or iPhone to play while you chill out in the sumptuous bubbles. iDucks would make a brilliant personalised gifts for the bath lover, and could even turn the staunch ‘showerer’ into a bath fan.
